Virtual operating systems installed on VMware Fusion, Workstation and Player may have file created and deleted. These files can cause the virtual disk to expand. The virtual disk is a file on your computer, so as this file grows its takes up more space in "real life". This video shows how to reclaim that space by shrinking the virtual disk down.
