This video demonstrates the aLTEr attack in a commercial network. The attack is part of the academic paper "Breaking LTE on Layer Two" to appear in the IEEE Symposium on Security & Privacy, May 2019.
Our demonstration is not a tutorial video on how to attack LTE and should only raise awareness for an open attack vector. Please note that the attack is possible in all commercial LTE networks, but it can only be conducted if restrictive technical requirements are met. One of these requirements in the absence of a missing HSTS policy.
