_Abstract:_ In light of the Canadian Mental Health Awareness (CMHA.ca) #GETLOUD week and May being Mental Health awareness Month in the United States, this presentation will provide an overview of the subversive mental health challenges information security practitioners face and strategies, tactics, and resources available to overcome them.

_Bio:_ Philippe Dorman is an information security sociologist with 10 years of hands-on experience in information technology roles and is currently transitioning into academia, exploring how technologies like encryption are changing how governments, corporations, and individuals participate in democratic processes.
